The Reno South Rotary Annual Fund Raiser for Most Improved Scholarships was held this year on June 4th, Thursday evening at High Sierra Industries starting at 6:00 PM.

Our speaker was Brian Shul, SR-71 Pilot and world record holder. Visit his website.

I have posted the link for both weeks of our MIS luncheon awards.  It is a large PDF file so it takes some time to load.  The event was to support these kids that overcame so much to graduate and throw off all their limitations, many took several years to overcome their obstacles.

Dinner Tickets were $25 per person. Club members were encouraged to bring a friend, neighbor or whomever to enjoy the evening.  Here is a Fund Raising Flyer you can download and print.

The Fund Raiser was a Raffle (tickets $10 each) for 5 major prizes; a trip to Hawaii with a condo stay in Maui, $1000 in cash and three Golf packages for four at Somerset, Arrow Creek or Lake Ridge.

Raffle tickets for $3 for prizes were available at the event include:  two tickets to "The  Broadway Comes to Reno" show of your choice, four all-day, ski passes to Tahoe Donner, two all day ski passes to Diamond Peak, and a $100 gift certificate to Rapscallion, plus others.
