Fundraiser

Donations and Support

All donations and fundraising efforts are separated from club operations (covered by dues) and dedicated specifically for club service projects that the Board of Directors approves each year.  We run numerous fundraisers as well as service projects such as handling all parking for the Great Reno Balloon Races.

As always, there are greater needs to fill than the club can raise funds for.  If you would llike to donate for the club projects, or purchase advertising for you business on this web site, we will be happy to accepet any and all donations.

This years fundraiser is all about raising money for our Most Improved Student Program and is called Opportunities 2010.  Five nationally recognized financial experts will discuss where the economy is going and how to profit from the move:  For complete Details, click on this banner

Our 2010 fundraiser was held Thursday June 3, 2010
8:00AM to Noon at the Atlantis Conference Center

Special Guest Speaker Howard Putnam, Former CEO of Southwest and Braniff Airlines
All proceeds go toward the Most Improved Student Program

Ways to Give

Annual gifts may be directed to the Area of Greatest Need or towards a specific program or project of the League. Gifts to the Area of Greatest Need allow the Reno South Rotary's Board of Directors to direct funds to programs as needed and provide flexible funds to respond quickly to unique opportunities.   Annual gifts provide the basis of support for the Reno South's annual community project partnerships and in-league training opportunities.  Annual gifts may be made with cash, credit card or stock transfers.

Corporate Sponsorship of the Most Improved Student Program allows the club to leverage your dollars to raise additional funds from the community to support the mission work of Reno South Rotary . Your company receives maximum community recognition in appreciation of your gift through event promotional efforts.  If you are interested in Corporate Giving, contact the Donor Development CoPresident Tom deJong.
