 Community Service

This “Avenue of Service” relates to the activities that Rotarians undertake to improve the quality of life in their community. Particular emphasis is given to helping children, needy families, the aged, the handicapped, and those most in need of assistance. Rotarians strive to promote the ideal of service in their personal, business, and community lives.

 

 

 

 

The Reno South Club is very dedicated to community service as shown by having the Kevin Browning heads up this avenue of service for 2010 - 2011.Reno South provides many forms of community service including:  

  • Community Grants - John Howe and Ray Moberg
  • Fundraising - Tom Hegge and ALL MEMBERS
  • Fundraising Sponsorships - Neil Prenn
  • Fundraising Balloon Races - Heidi Howe, Press Clewe, Chuck Malley, Dave Ouren
  • Fundrasing Air Races -: Chuck Malley and Tom Hegge
  • Handicapped Assistance - John Howe and Denny Granata
  • Robinhood Park Activites - Press Clewe
  • Flu Shots - Royden Reed and BobHahn
